Stellar Reviews is operated by Cameron Kotara, an individual using the brand Stellar Apps. Contact stellarappsupport@gmail.com with privacy questions or data requests. The app is in development and is not yet publicly available in the Wix App Market.
What the app does
Stellar Reviews lets a Wix site administrator connect a Google Business Profile they manage and display that business's Google reviews in website widgets. Connecting Google is optional. This public homepage does not itself connect to your Google account.
Information used
- Wix installation and subscription information: installation and site identifiers, administrator identity needed to authorize setup, and the current plan needed to apply review limits.
- Google connection: authorization credentials, the business accounts and locations available to you, and the location you choose. Your Google password is entered only on Google's sign-in screen and is not provided to Stellar Apps.
- Review content: review text, star ratings, reviewer display names and profile images, review dates, and the business's aggregate rating and review count, as supplied by Google. Selected business information and review content appear publicly in the widgets you publish.
- Support: information you choose to send us when requesting help. Hosting providers may also process technical request information needed to deliver and protect the service.
How we use and share information
We use this information to connect your business, display reviews, enforce your plan, troubleshoot problems, and respond to support requests. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models. We do not use the Google connection to post content, reply to reviews, or change your Business Profile.
Google processes authorization and supplies Business Profile information. Wix hosts the app and its private connection storage and manages subscriptions. The public website is hosted through OpenAI Sites. Information is processed by these providers as needed to deliver their services. Google profile images may load directly from Google when visitors view a widget.
Google data permissions
Google's Business Profile permission is broader than simply reading reviews. Stellar Reviews uses it only for the review display features described above. Stellar Reviews' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements, and applicable Business Profile API policies.
Storage and retention
Saved Google credentials are encrypted and bound to the Wix installation. Review content is temporarily held in server memory for up to 24 hours; it is not intended to form a permanent review archive. Your connection and selected business remain saved while the app is connected. Support correspondence is kept as needed to address the request and meet applicable obligations.
Disconnecting and deleting data
Use Disconnect Google in Stellar Reviews to remove this site's saved connection and stop supplying its widgets with reviews. You can separately revoke Stellar Reviews' Google access in your Google Account connections; revocation can affect every site using that Google authorization. To request deletion or help disconnecting, email stellarappsupport@gmail.com. We will respond to requests to disassociate a Business Profile within seven business days. We may need to verify that you control the installation before acting on a request.
Payments and updates
Planned paid subscriptions will be handled by Wix. Stellar Apps does not ask you to send payment card, bank, or tax information by email. We will update this policy when the service's data practices change and publish the effective date here.
